Why Vegs grow.
and why they don't.
Welcome to
Veg Geek
I help you grow your Vegs;
with practical advice that works better for you, and our planet!
Are you disappointed of your results growing your own food because you don’t know how to best grow Vegs?
Are you sure you know how Vegs grow and why they don't? Are you producing “safe” Vegs for your family? Are you getting the most and best nutrients-rich Vegs you can in the space you have from the efforts you put in? You can re-learn the ways you grow Vegs – and possibly where – so that you not only produce more Vegs, but do it in a way that is better for you and our planet.
Successfully growing Vegs doesn’t mean more hard work and certainly not more chemicals. Instead, it's understanding what Nature needs. When you use that knowledge, your Vegs will flourish! You'll find here different ways to grow Vegs that better fit you and your growing space whether that's indoor, a patio, a small garden patch in the backyard, a greenhouse or even an allotment!
How do you better grow Vegs? Will we use some secret agricultural techniques or chemistry? How can you do this in a way that doesn't take up all your spare time, is organic, with minimum waste, preserving water, and still grow nutrients-rich, continuous supply of tasty Vegs for your family throughout the seasons?
Why give away so much?
I often get asked why on earth I do all this work and give it away for free here. It’s straightforward: I'm SO angry to see we have lost control of our food system over the last 70 years with the wrong science, applied by the wrong people: we've let a handful of global companies playing God with nature (and sell you more chemicals to fix the problems they create); most people rely on Vegs in supermarkets that don't bring you good taste or the nutrients needed – and come with all sorts of unspecified chemicals; our current food growing methods are destroying our soil and wasting so much water; we allow (mostly without our knowledge) so much chemicals get into our bodies and we are handing down all this to our children- it is complete madness.
Luckily, I've learned from some fantastic people (starting with my family, but from people across continents too), and I could never give back. So this is my way of helping others take any little steps we can to make it better for you, and for our planet.
That’s why I put so much efforts in sending you (nearly) daily the Veg Geek newsletter, preparing the most comprehensive Guides out there -and always free. I also sell other stuff to help you faster.
Check out some of the responses I get when other people like you come across my work. Hopefully, you'll see why Veg Geek website should remain on your reading list!

Surrey, England.
We settled in beautiful Surrey county, England. Close to the city (in suburb!) yet close to the countryside and never too far away from the coast.
My wife and I aren’t natives; but the country welcomed us still, and it’s the best place to call home – even with its weather (definitely improving in last 20 years!)
It's shorter days here in the northern hemisphere; so in the afternoons that's usually my view: the garden working hard growing Vegs for me! –
Where to get started?
I want to help you get started growing your own Vegs immediately, even without a garden (If you do have a garden, you’ll still benefit and learn much from this next step before you scale your Vegs production in the garden).
