Gardeners: What are the most impactful climate actions you can take?
What’s the most impactful climate actions you can take in your garden?
It’s not too late. We can still take actions to mitigate, and even maybe reverse climate change (take the time to read the Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming AMZ).
But it requires each one of us to take actions in our lives.
While it is true each of our individual actions will only have a small impact, they are really important in increasing collective awareness of the climate change crisis we are facing.
As gardeners there are many things we can do. Explore below a few of the actions you can take, with minimum efforts - and best of all, it’s better for you and our planet.
#1 Grow more of your own food, even if you don’t have a Veg patch
No Food miles. No pesticides.
Little efforts. Maximum Nutrients.
Supply throughout the year.
#2 Stop using fertilisers from the big bad Corporates destroying our environment…
(yes Bayer Monsanto, for example)
Stop killing your soils.
Stop damaging human DNA.
Instead grow more nutrients-rich Vegs.
#3 Keep more of your waste home, start Composting
Stop the madness of Waste processing and its many impacts.
Use all your kitchen waste, even meat.
Make truly magical compost at home!
